Florent Ghisolfi says goodbye to Nice, prepares for Roma move: “Onto a new journey.” | OneFootball

Roma technical director Florent Ghisolfi officially bid farewell to Nice via his personal Instagram account today.

The French executive personally addressed OGC Nice in a farewell message which he posted ahead of his move to Roma.

Ghisolfi was recently announced Roma’s new technical director and is shortly expected in the Italian capital to begin work for the busy summer ahead.

Up until now, Ghisolfi was waiting for all of the paperwork regarding his exit from Nice to come through.

With that out of the way, Ghisolfi is ready to fly to Rome and work in his new office at Trigoria.

In the meantime, the 39-year-old director posted a reel on Instagram with a lengthy message:

“Thank you, Nice. This journey wasn’t as long as I wanted, but these 19 months were intense, full of joys, disappointments, positive things and difficulties, but together we achieved our goals.”

“Thanks to everyone who accompanied and supported me on this journey, thanks to the Nice fans for their welcome and support, thanks to the managers for their trust and work done together, thanks to every employee of the club, thanks to the team and to the staff, built with love.”

“Thank you to my family and especially to my daughters, thank you my princesses for your support, your understanding and your unconditional love. On the way to a new journey…”
