Roma’s new technical director Florent Ghisolfi is ready to begin his first summer of work at the club.
The French executive was appointed by the club two weeks after agreeing to part ways with Nice.
Ghisolfi’s work in Ligue 1 with Lens and Nice thoroughly impressed Roma president Dan Friedkin who decided to select him as Tiago Pinto’s successor.
Ghisolfi and Lina Souloukou will collaborate on the sporting area of the club including outgoing transfers and signings.
In the meantime, Daniele De Rossi will be consulted every step of the way and involved as much as possible in the decision-making process of Roma’s transfer plans.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Ghisolfi intends to work in complete synergy with the coach.
Roma’s priority is to avoid signing players that are incompatible with the manager’s needs.
