On Monday, Flamengo flew to Ecuador to begin preparations for the second leg of their Copa Libertadores semi-final with Barcelona.
26 players flew to Ecuador, with only goalkeeper César, defensive midfielder Piris da Motta and defender Léo Pereira left behind in Brazil.
The first two players were chosen by the technical staff while Léo Pereira is suspended after his red-card offence toward the end of the first leg.
After missing the first leg, Renato Gaúcho will be able to depend on Filipe Luís and Giorgian De Arrascaeta, though it’s not known if the duo will be named in the matchday squad.
