After winning their Round of 16 clash against ABC, Flamengo moved on to the quarter-finals of the Copa do Brasil.
Friday afternoon’s draw pits the Rubro-Negro against Grêmio in the next round of the competition.

The meeting will be a special one for manager Renato Gaúcho, who coached Grêmio from 2016-2021 before moving to his current club.
Flamengo will play the first leg away from home on 25 August and the second leg on 1 September.
If they can make it through, a clash against either Santos and Athletico-PR would be the semi-final match-up.
