Flamengo will reportedly be missing seven players for Wednesday’s Copa Libertadores tie with Tolima after they tested positive for COVID-19.

According to Globo Esporte’s Cahê Mota, three goalkeepers (Diego Alves, Matheus Cunha and Kauã Santos) are among those affected.

Willian Arão, Matheus França, Rodrigo Caio and Fabrício Bruno are the other players who tested positive.

That means they will have to adhere to isolation protocols and will not travel to Colombia for the round of 16 first leg fixture.

The report claims that Kauã Santos, a 19-year-old stopper who had been called up to replace Alves, had to leave the plane after being informed of his positive test.

Of the seven players, only Caio started in Saturday’s 3-0 win over América Mineiro, with Arão replacing João Gomes late on at the Maracanã.
