Flamengo 'reach agreement' with Ayrton Lucas over permanent contract

Flamengo are set to tie down defender Ayrton Lucas to a long-term contract.

According to a report from O Jornal Dia, the club has reached an agreement with the 25-year-old on Monday.

Lucas is currently on loan from Spartak Moscow with his deal ending in December but a new four-year deal is now on the table with the Brazilian club.

Flamengo have already agreed terms with the player’s representatives and are set to discuss the transfer with the Russian club.

During his short time with the Brazilian club so far, Lucas has made 26 appearances registering two goals and three assists.
