Al-Hilal announced the signing of Michael from Flamengo on Thursday night. Soon after, Flamengo posted an image with thanks:
“He arrived, fought, captivated us, entertained us, and won. And he won a lot! Thank you for everything, Micha! All the success in the world for you, little robot!
Al-Hilal agreed to pay $8.45m (R$45.5m) for the 80 per cent of Michael’s economic rights that belonged to Flamengo.
The player will sign a three-year contract and receive $2.4m annually at his new club.
