Flamengo-linked Vitor Pereira sacked by Fenerbahçe | OneFootball

Flamengo are currently conducting interviews in Portugal to find their next manager, having reportedly spoken to both Paulo Sousa and Rui Vitória.

To make things even more interesting, one of the Rubro-Negro’s managerial targets is suddenly available.

On Monday, Fenerbahçe announced that Vitor Pereira has been sacked a day following their 2-2 draw with Beşiktaş.

“An agreement was reached with our football A-team manager Vitor Pereira over the termination of his contract and we have now separated.

“We would like to thank him for his efforts and work so far and wish him success in his future career.”

Vitor Pereira left Fenerbahçe in fifth place in the Süper Lig, 14 points behind leader Trabzonspor.

Pereira has already been a national champion in three different countries: twice for Porto in Portugal, once for Olympiakos in Greece, and again at Shanghai SIPG in China.
