Flamengo learn their Copa do Brasil third phase opponents

On Monday evening, the matchups for the third phase of the 2022 Copa do Brasil were revealed.

Flamengo have received a very favourable draw as they will face Altos, a team from the state of Piauí.

Altos currently play in the Brazilian Serie C, having recently been promoted from Serie D, and defeated both Sport Recife and ABC in order to reach the third phase.

Altos were only founded in 2013 and have won the state cup in Piauí in 2017, 2018, and in 2021.
