Flamengo are headed to Montevideo, Uruguay to compete for another Copa Libertadores final after they took care of business with a 2-0 victory over Barcelona.
They will face Palmeiras thanks to a second brace in two legs from Bruno Henrique as he scored all four goals in their 4-0 aggregate victory.
Bruno Henrique’s first goal of the contest put the tie to bed just 18 minutes into the match, requiring the Ecuadorians to make up four goals in order to overcome the deficit.
The Rubro-Negro really began celebrating their passage to Uruguay after his second strike, which was beautifully chipped over the goalkeeper just after the half-time intermission.
The two sides will meet at the Estadio Centenario on November 27th, with Flamengo looking for their second triumph in three years while Palmeiras seek to become back-to-back South American champions.
