Flamengo have announced the departure of midfielder Andreas Pereira, after a one-year loan from Manchester United.
The 26-year-old is an Old Trafford youth product, and since 2016 has been on a series of loans to Granada, Valencia, Lazio and now over in Brazil.
It was reported that Flamengo had paid an initial €1m fee for the loan of the player, however, have now decided not to take up their option to buy him, despite the fact the player himself wanted to stay.
Pereira, who is under contract at United until this time next year, has also been linked with a move to Fulham this summer.
