Flamengo captain Diego Ribas is reportedly being monitored by two clubs from the Saudi Arabian League.
The 37-year-old’s contract expires later this year and he has yet to be tied down to a new deal. According to journalist Ekrem Konur, the Rubo-Negro’s captain is being monitored by teams in the middle east.
“Two teams from the Saudi Arabian League are following the situation of Brazilian Diego from Flamengo,” he wrote on Twitter.
Diego has been part of the Mengão set-up since 2016 and is under contract until December 2022.
The former-Atlético Madrid midfielder has been used sparingly under new manager Paulo Sousa, featuring only three times in this season’s Campeonato Carioca.
Flamengo are back in action on Sunday as they host Vasco da Gama.
