Flamengo announced the signing of defender Pablo on Monday afternoon.

In an interview with FlaTV, the player talked about his dream of wearing the Flamengo shirt and discussed his reasoning for returning to Brazil from Lokomotiv Moscow.

“It’s a shirt with a lot of weight, enormous greatness, and very passionate fans. We will work hard so that we can achieve the goals.

“Winning titles was one of the goals when I thought about returning to Brazil. Flamengo is (virtually) a European team in Brazil. It has a quality structure and quality players.

“It was a very difficult situation with the war between two countries. It made our family’s situation very difficult, mainly sending money back to Brazil.

“Many people need that financial part of the player.

Pablo arrived in Rio on Sunday with his wife and underwent medical examinations on Monday.
