On Friday, Flamengo announced the signing of 26-year-old centre-back Bruno Viana, on loan from Liga NOS outfit Braga.
The loan will run until the end of December 2021, with an option to buy at the end of the loan for a fixed-fee of €7m.
The player will wear the number 30 shirt but will not be eligible to play until 1 March, which will be after the end of the current Brasileirão campaign.
Viana began his career at Cruzeiro before joining Olympiacos in 2016 for €2m, joining Braga on loan a year later and signing a permanent deal in 2018 for a €3m fee.
Viana has made a whopping 150 appearances for Braga and is under contract there until 2023.
