Friday was a busy day for Flamengo as they confirmed the addition of Erick Pulgar and the departure of Gustavo Henrique.
Pulgar returns to South American football after a seven-year career in Europe, where he spent time with Bologna, Fiorentina, and Galatasaray.
The Chilean joins the Rubro-Negro for a €2.8m fee in addition to an undisclosed percentage of a future sale. He will belong to the club until December 2025.
Meanwhile, Gustavo Henrique’s transfer to Jorge Jesus and Fenerbahçe was made official.
Gustavo Henrique has signed a one-year deal with the Turkish club, who were eliminated from Champions League qualifying and will now attempt to navigate their way to the Europa League.
