In the midst of an unstable and troubled season, Flamengo will face Universidad Católica (CHI) on Tuesday, needing just a point to secure qualification for the knockout stage.

David Luiz did not train on Monday and has been ruled out, while Fabrício Bruno, Matheus França, Santos, Diego Alves, Filipe Luís, Gustavo Henrique, and Vitinho continue to sit on the sidelines with various injuries.
Meanwhile, Flamengo are reportedly holding talks with Rodinei over a new deal as the player can sign a pre-contract with another club starting in June.
Venê Casagrande claims that a contract and a new salary has been agreed but the player has yet to put pen-to-paper.
