‘F**king idiot’ – Almería star Ramazani’s explicit rant at referee confirmed | OneFootball

An insight into the extent of the verbal assault launched by Almería star Largie Ramazani on the back of his side’s meeting with Villarreal has been provided.

Ramazani, for his part, endured an outing to forget on Sunday.

Introduced off the bench in his side’s La Liga clash with the aforementioned Villarreal, the Belgian was given his marching orders late on, for a pair of bookable offences.

And his dismissal ultimately cost Almería dear, the Spanish top-flight basement-dwellers on the receiving end of an injury-time winner by way of Alexander Sørloth.

Upon learning of as much, Ramazani then completely lost his composure, post-match.

The 23-year-old waited in the tunnel for referee Ortiz Arias to appear, before launching into a foul-mouthed tirade against the official.

Staff members were forced to step in to restrain Ramazani, but the damage, from a verbal standpoint at least, had long been done.

As per a report from Marca, the young attacker is facing up to a likely lengthy La Liga suspension.

This comes with the extent of his rant having been detailed in referee Arias’ official minutes, showcased below:

“Once the match was over and I was inside the locker room tunnel, the local player number 7, Mr. Largie Ramazani, approached me aggressively and with an intimidating attitude, without actually contacting me physically because he was held back by approximately four members of the local team. Once he was separated, he addressed me, shouting the following terms: ‘F**king d**khead!’, ‘F**king c**t!’, ‘F**king c**t!’ ‘F**king idiot!’ (F**king asshole! F**king bastard! F**king idiot!).”
