Paul Pogba

His last three seasons at Manchester United have been largely underwhelming but there’s undoubtedly still a potentially world class midfielder just waiting to blossom there and fellow Frenchman Zidane could be just the manager to get the best out of Pogba.

Christian Eriksen

An interview given by the Tottenham playmaker to Danish media last week was pretty much the most blatant come-and-get-me-plea to Real Madrid you’re ever likely to hear.

Sell Isco and sign Eriksen. It’s a complete no brainer.

Kylian Mbappé

Rumours in France suggest the 20-year-old is still very keen to leave PSG this summer and Real Madrid will be kicking themselves forever if they don’t get him.

Mbappé is a once in a lifetime talent and if he’s available, money should be no object.

João Félix

Speaking of once in a lifetime talents, this kid is causing quite the stir across Europe after a season in which he netted 20 goals and assisted 11 others for Benfica.

The 19-year-old’s €120m release clause could prove a stumbling block but it will be a small price to pay if he really does turn out to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sadio Mané

Of all the players on this list, Mané is probably the least likely to want to leave his current club this summer.

But when Real Madrid come in for you, it can be difficult to say no and the world class Senegalese striker would be perfect for Zidane’s project.
