Despite winning back-to-back LaLiga titles, things aren’t too rosy in Barcelona.

The squad needs additions but they can’t arrive unless some players are sold first.

Here are five players that Barça should move on this summer.

Samuel Umtiti

There’s no doubt that Samuel Umtiti is one of the best defenders in world football – when fit.

But he looked a shadow of his former self last season and with Clement Lenglet playing so well, now could be the right time to sell.

Ivan Rakitić

This is a difficult one. Ivan Rakitić is a key member of this side, but often became a scapegoat last season when things were difficult.

He has two years left on his current deal and could be used to raise funds – particularly with Frenkie de Jong arriving from Ajax.

André Gomes

As many have found out, the Camp Nou can be unforgiving if you don’t settle straight away.

André Gomes has all the right attributes on paper but with his stock high, this is an excellent opportunity to recoup some money.

Malcom

It was clear from day one that Ernesto Valverde didn’t want Malcom, despite the late Roma hijack.

And even though he impressed when afforded opportunities, a parting of ways would suit both club and player.

Jasper Cillessen

More than reliable as second choice but will never displace Marc-André ter Stegen in goal.

The club are reportedly demanding €55m for his signature which is ridiculous, but €20m would be a welcome boost to their summer kitty.
