Five of Liverpool’s six opening Premier League (PL) fixtures in August and September will be live on either Sky Sports or BT Sport.

Those fixtures have all been rescheduled for TV purposes and we have the details of all of those changes right here.

Of course, Liverpool and Manchester City play in the season’s curtain-raiser, the Community Shield, on Sunday, August 4th. That game is live on BT Sport at 3pm.

The Reds start the season at home to Norwich City on Friday, August 9th, live on Sky Sports at 8pm before Liverpool and Chelsea then meet in Istanbul on Wednesday, August 14th to contest the UEFA Super Cup, live on BT Sport.

Saturday, August 17th sees the only one of Liverpool’s early PL games which won’t be broadcast live on UK TV when Jurgen Klopp’s men travel to play Southampton at 3pm.

Then Liverpool have two consecutive Saturday evening fixtures – home to Arsenal on August 24th and away to Burnley on the 31st. Both games will be live on Sky Sports and kick off at 5:30pm.

After the first international break of the season, Liverpool return to action at home to Newcastle United on September 14th. Kick-off is at 12:30pm and it will be live on BT Sport.

Eight days later, Liverpool travel to Chelsea for the live Sunday afternoon fixture at 4:30pm and it will be shown live by Sky Sports.

The following Saturday, it’s another early game for The Reds as they play Sheffield United at 12:30pm at Bramall Lane. This game will be on BT Sport.
