OH Leuven’s head coach Oscar Garcia was finally able to celebrate a first league win since taking over. The former Brighton and Watford man saw his side run out 3-0 winners over Eupen. For the Pandas head coach Florian Kohfeldt, his side have now gone nine games without a win. Yet the picture is even bleaker than that. Since winning three of their opening five games, the side have only won once in 15 games.

Garcia’s men on the other hand were once again reliant on their star player Jón Thorsteinsson. The former Fulham Academy man opened the scoring within the first minute. Within half and hour it was 2-0 when Youssef Maziz, who provided the assist for the opener, found the net with Jonatan Braut Brunes grabbing the assist. Late in the game Thai international Suphanat Mueanta got his first goal in the Pro League as he finished off a counter-attack.
