It takes his all-time LaLiga tally to 236 and 17 this season.

It means he is now the fourth-highest goal scorer in LaLiga history only behind Telmo Zarra (252), Cristiano Ronaldo (311) and Lionel Messi (474).

The brace also puts the Madrid man only one behind Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski for this season’s Pichichi.
