Fiorentina’s Edoardo Bove breathing safe after collapsing in Inter game | OneFootball

Serie A witnessed some horrifying scenes today as Edoardo Bove collapsed during the clash involving Fiorentina and INter.

In desperate and emotional scenes, Bove collapsed onto the floor and soon enough, the players of both teams surrounded him in a circle. The emergency ambulance took time in coming onto the pitch until the players and fans urged for it to come on and help the situation.

The play was suspended as Bove was carried off and the players looked very emotional and distraught. The players returned to the locker room.

Sky Italia have stated that the player is breathing on his own and was taken to the hospital and it comes as good news, with the player now in a stable condition but still unconscious. He will undergo further checks and the game is currently suspended.

The Serie A is yet to comment and confirm the suspension status and more details will emerge soon.
