Fiorentina are pushing hard to conclude the signing of Dinamo Zagreb’s highly rated defender Josip Sutalo.
According to reports from Firenzeviola, the club are in talks over a deal that could cost the Tuscan club up to €25million.
Primarily a centre back, Sutalo made his Croatian international debut at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the tournament’s third place play off match against Morocco and has earned rave reviews for his performances for his club side in recent seasons.
At 23, it is believed that Fiorentina see the player as a significant investment that could be a mainstay of their side for the long term and could bring hefty profit should they choose to cash in on him.
La Viola are set to make a fair amount of money from sales, with Igor set to join Brighton and Sofyan Amrabat edging closer to Manchester United. Aleksa Terzic is also on his way to RB Salzburg and the money earned from these sales could finance the move for Sutalo.
