Fiorentina keen on Borussia Dortmund’s Gio Reyna | OneFootball

Serie A side Fiorentina are interested in the possibility of signing Borussia Dortmund’s Gio Reyna from the Bundesliga giants in the last few days of the transfer window.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Fiorentina are keen on adding a winger to their side at the end of the window and this has led to them being interested in Reyna, who seemed close to a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest in recent days. Marseille were also interested in the American.

Fiorentina want to sign the player on a loan deal and the fact that Rocco Commisso is American, just like the player, could help in the move. That could prove key, if Fiorentina are to land the 21-year-old, who was born in England.

This season, Reyna has played 14 times in all competitions. Last season, he did well in front of goal for the club as he scored seven times and racked up four assists.
