Serie A side Fiorentina set to close deal with Venezia for Tanner Tessmann today.

According to a report by Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina have reached an agreement with newly promoted side Venezia for the transfer of Tanner Tessmann this summer. The deal is expected to close at a fee of €6 million as work is underway with the player’s agents to sort out the final details.

The USMNT midfielder is liked by new manager Rafaelle Palladino as it is predicted that he personally asked the Florence-based outfit for his signing.

The deal is set to be completed today and medical examinations will be scheduled this weekend or next week.

Just a few more steps before Tessmann is unveiled as a new Fiorentina player.

The 22-year-old played an influential role in Venezia’s promotion to the Italian top flight last season in the Serie B, scoring seven goals and registering three assists across all competitions.
