The Finland vs Bulgaria UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as the Eagle-Owls host the Lions at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium this Sunday, October 11, at 9:00 a.m. Pacific.
Finland has had a decent start to this Nations League with a win against Ireland and a loss to Wales. However, the nordic side is coming off a surprising 5-1 loss to Poland in a friendly match earlier in the week.
Manager Markku Kanerva has usually played a five at the back formation with Finland, which has worked out defensively so far. The Eagle-Owls have an intriguing attack with players like Teemu Pukki and Joel Pohjanpalo of Bayer Leverkusen.
Bulgaria is coming off a crushing 3-1 loss to Hungary in the UEFA EURO qualifiers as the Lions will miss out on the next edition of the EURO. Bulgaria only has one point in the Nations League with a loss to Wales and a draw against the Republic of Ireland.
Bozhidar Kraev of Danish team FC Midtjylland is arguably the most talented player on this Bulgarian team, but he was disappointing against Hungary. This will not be an easy game for Kraev and company against Finland’s solid backline, but it is set to be a hard-fought clash.
