“Final details remaining” – Sterling’s move to Chelsea edges closer
the Chelsea News
Chelsea fans are desperate to see the Blues make their first signing of the transfer window and for weeks all fans have expected Man City’s Raheem Sterling to be the first one through the door which does still look to be the case.
According to Miguel Delaney, from The Independent, Chelsea are down to ‘final details’ of a £45m move with a potential of £10m in add-ons for Sterling with the attacker ‘expected’ to go on the pre-season tour to the United States.
The 27-year-old is said to be ‘comfortable’ with the terms and is ‘excited’ about a move back to London.
It’s really a matter of when and not if with this signing and I believe this will be a strong addition to Thomas Tuchel’s side.
Sterling knows the league very well and will definitely fit Tuchel’s style of play where he can utilise his versatility and slot in nicely across the front three.
