Domènec Torrent received some fantastic news on Thursday as Filipe Luís is now fully recovered from his calf injury, meaning he will be ready to face Atlético-MG in Flamengo’s season-opener.

Rafinha joined the team on Thursday and will be reassessed. He is currently questionable for this Sunday’s match.

The right-back suffered a strong ankle sprain during the Carioca finals against Fluminense and will be observed during Friday and Saturday’s training sessions.

If Rafinha does not complain about the pain, he will be available for selection.

The coaching staff is optimistic but will minimise the risk of a new injury as much as possible.
