On Sunday, Flamengo won another trophy in history and lifted the Supercopa do Brasil for the second consecutive time, beating Palmeiras on penalties.

After winning another title with the Rubro-Negro, Filipe Luís has now, incredibly, won a trophy for every 11 games he’s played for Mais Querido.

Since joining Fla in summer 2019, the full-back has been collecting trophies on his shelf and has won two Brazilian Championships (2019-2020), two Brazilian Super Cups (2020-2021), a Copa Libertadores title (2019), a Recopa (2020), and a Carioca Championship.

The former Atlético Madrid star was instrumental in Sunday’s title victory, connecting on 50 of his 52 passes and was the player with the most tackles (three).

After celebrating the Supercopa victory, Filipe Luís and company must get ready for another game as they take on fierce rivals Vasco da Gama, who will begin this season in Serie B for the first time since 2016.
