The FIGC have opened investigations into a x-rated video scandal that broke out at Roma and further details have emerged about the situation.
Corriere della Sera today state that FIGC are carrying out interrogations and are assessing documents about the case, which saw a female employee at the Giallorossi get sacked after one of the club’s Primavera player had spread a sex video amongst his own teammates.
The video in question involved the sacked employee and her boyfriend and leaked by the player and was seen by the other players that it was spread to. FIGC are assessing evidence to verify the responsibilities of members relating to the spread of the video.
The player who had spread the video has confessed to the activity, with Il Fatto Quotidiano stating that the Primavera player stated that he had stolen the video from two other staff members. The confession dates back to October 2023 and that is when the video had circulated amongst the players as well and Corriere della Sera state that sexist comments about the video were also made about the employee.
The employee had been working at Roma for ten years and Roma have, so far, declined to comment about the issue. The female employee, for her case, hired well-known lawyer Francesco Francesco Bronzini , who in recent months has worked to find a peaceful solution without bringing the case before the judges, for the employee’s return to Trigoria.
