Argentina are still the world’s top dogs according to FIFA’s updated international rankings, released on Thursday.
La Albiceleste played two World Cup qualifiers during the November international break – losing 2-0 to Uruguay before beating Brazil 1-0.
That victory over their fierce rivals appears to have kept the reigning world champions in top spot, with Brazil dropping from third place to fifth.
France are second, followed closely by England, who move up one place into third.
Just outside the top 10 are Uruguay, who have climbed four places into 11th.
While it was a particularly notable month for Kosovo (101st) and the Comoros Islands (119th), who are now higher in the rankings than they have even been before.
