Ouest-France report today that FIFA president Gianni Infantino will be in attendance at this weekend’s Guingamp-Toulouse Ligue 2 fixture, at the invitation of FFF president Noël Le Graët.
Le Graët, who is from Guingamp and still owns a house there, was with Infantino last week in Qatar for the World Cup group stage draw. The Frenchman indicated that he was “happy because I have a lot of esteem for him” on hearing of the 52-year-old’s bid for a third term as FIFA president.
Guingamp, who are currently seventh in the second tier, host high-flying Toulouse, who look set to wrap up promotion in the coming weeks as they sit 8 points clear at the top.
