FIFA Club World Cup 2025: the groups and table

Inter opened their campaign at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 with a draw at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles in the first game of Group E. The Nerazzurri are now looking ahead to the games against Urawa Red Diamond and River Plate. For the next match, the Nerazzurri will head north: The match against Urawa will be played at Lumen field in Seattle on Saturday 21 June at 12:00 (local time, 21:00 CEST).

CLUB WORLD CUP: THE GROUPS

Inter is in Group E with River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds and C.F. Monterrey. After the first match, the Nerazzurri are in second place with one point, following a draw against the Mexican side. Inter are tied with Monterrey while River Plate lead Group E following their 3-1 win against Urawa in Seattle.

The top two in each group will advance to the direct elimination phase of the tournament, which will conclude with the Final at the MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey, 13 July, where the winners will receive the new trophy for the FIFA Club World Cup .

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

32 teams will take part in the Club World Cup. The format of the competition will be as follows:

A group stage composed of eight groups of four teams per group playing in a single-game round-robin format
The top two teams per group will progress to the round of 16
A direct single-match knockout stage from the round of 16 to the final
No third-place play-off

DATES FOR FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP 2025

The first edition of the new FIFA Club World Cup will take place from 14 June until 13 July 2025 and will be played in the United States.

GROUP STAGE DATES

The competition got underway with the match between Al Ahly and Inter Miami, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Saturday 14 June at 20:00 local time (02:00 CEST). The group stage matches will be played until Thursday 26 June.

DATES FOR DIRECT ELIMINATION PHASE

The direct elimination phase will start on Saturday 28 June with the first two last-16 matches, at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia and the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
