FIFA 23 rating rumours are beginning to circulate on social media, with the latest having been leaked being the new boy at Manchester City – Erling Haaland.

The Norwegian striker was one of Europe’s most sought-after players in the summer, with Pep Guardiola wasting little to no time to secure the absolute goal machine’s signature. Haaland featured 29 times for Borussia Dortmund last season, scoring a remarkable 27 goals in this time. He was also on the road to recovery a lot last season after injury problems, so to still obtain this record is nothing short of world-class.

Due to this, it was always going to be apparent that Erling Haaland would obtain a very high rating in FIFA 23. He is destined to be one of the best strikers in the world, if he isn’t already, so with this will come to an exceptionally high rating.

Thanks to leaks, we now potentially know what rating the Norwegian will be receiving in FIFA 23. So let’s take a look at him, shall we?

According to a leak from FUTAHOLIC, here is Erling Haaland’s rating in FIFA 23.

It appears that the leaker believes Haaland will receive an 89-rated card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

Now, this is merely a leak – so we’re no way in saying this is confirmed, however, the leaker appears to have an inside source, so it could be possible.

The stats on the card graphic are also a complete prediction, so there is no telling what stats the Norwegian will actually obtain, but the rating is leaked to be correct.

An 89-rating would see Erling Haaland get a +1 from his rating in FIFA 22 – which is certainly justified. But does he deserve even higher?

The undisputed new ‘starboy’ debate is between Haaland and Kylian Mbappe who has been leaked as the highest-rated card in the game with a whopping 92-rated item.

This will spark some debate as many see them on an equal playing field, but leaks have also suggested that Mbappe is one of the new FUT Ambassadors, which will clearly sway their decision when deciding on the ratings.
