FIFA 23 has dazzled with its early reviews, with critics lauding it for its ‘realism’ and ‘immersion’ whilst praising ‘a fitting end’ to EA Sports’ partnership with the brand as developers.

Of course, for those playing on next-gen, the dazzling experience is only heightened, with eyebrow-raising graphics, hyper-motion gameplay technology and refined dribbling and striking elevating the gaming experiences to new levels.

In fact, this smorgasbord of exciting features might just provide a football-gaming experience that fans across the globe have been crying out for as long as anyone can remember.

Whilst there are some discernible differences that will improve the experience for next-gen players, many fans will be happy to know the Standard Edition, released today, is the same for both versions.

For those playing on PS5 or XBOX Series X, the tweaks in gameplay and visuals serves a virtual match experience unlike anything that has been seen before.

Either way, the game looks incredible on both generations.

We have seen clips of players such as Kylian Mbappe weaving past hapless defenders and Toni Kroos hovering over a dead ball, so accurately designed you could almost touch them.

A corner routine involving Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. for PSG illuminates the difference in shading and texture on the players, creating a more natural and realistic feel to the overall gameplay.

An additional perk will entice those who appreciate the little things that game developers inject into their product. Next-gen players can enjoy extra onus on creating new fan scenes, heightened graphics and exclusive chants.
