eSports’ youngest wizard in RB Leipzig pro Anders Vejrgang is already off to a flier at the beginning of the FIFA 23 season.
The Danish international is determined to smash his way onto the Global Series, a competition which he hasn’t been able to participate in due to his age in previous years.
Now that he is 16 years old, Leipzig’s star FIFA player can finally register himself to the massive tournament and will surely find the mark in it.
His first weekend on the game was a very profitable one for him, as he went 20 games unbeaten and beat the majority of his opponents in spectacular fashion, the most of which were beaten before the full-time whistle.
That’s correct, he did in fact make a multitude of them leave – otherwise known as the infamous rage quit!
With a super strong starting 11, spearheaded by Brazilian Icon R9 up front, many would be quaking in their boots if they saw Vejrgang’s team in the loading menus on FUT this year.
He also did this in record time, completing his round of fixtures in just under three hours that Friday night.
In the big leagues with other pros, however, they always have teams of similar quality and could very well give the prodigy a run for his money.
At the Eligella Cup, he finished inside the top eight after he beat the likes of Tim “TheStrxngeR” Katnawatos and Richard “RBLZ_Gaucho” Hormes, but did lose to new boy Mustafa “xMusti19” Cankal 12-5 across two legs.
He also enjoyed a good spell in the Blacki-Pro-Cup in his team’s home country of Germany, winning two very important games to reach the final before losing to VFL Bochum pro Timo “TimoX” Siep 3-2 in a close match.
He truly made a name for himself last year on FIFA 22 in offline and team leagues, at one stage going 535 games unbeaten, but showed this year he can only improve and hang with the big boys if needs be as FIFA 23 rolls on into its life cycle.
Just how much will Leipzig’s Danish boy wonder achieve this coming year? The sky is most definitely the limit for this young man!
