Feyenoord may be forced to play without first choice left back Tyrell Malacia when they face Roma later this month in the Conference League final.

Dutch outlet 1908.nl reports the 22 year-old will undergo an MRI scan later today after he suffered a hamstring injury earlier this week. A return timetable will be clearer in the coming hours, however, there’s growing concern that he’ll indefinitely be unavailable for the clash on May 25th.

The defender is believed to have tweaked his groin during Feyenoord’s 2-2 draw against PSV on Sunday. He was not called up yesterday for the team’s 1-0 victory against Go Ahead Eagles.
