Feyenoord have completed the signing of Ondřej Lingr from Slavia Prague. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has joined on a season-long loan and the Rotterdam club have the option to buy at the end of the campaign. Lingr will succeed Sebastian Szymanski in the number 10 role at Feyenoord.
Ondřej Lingr has spent the last three seasons playing for Slavia Prague. In total he’s featured 144 times in the Czech top flight, scoring 34 goals and providing eight assists. The versatile midfielder has represented the Czech Republic’s national team on six occasions.
Lingr has become Feyenoord’s 12th summer signing. Already, head coach Arne Slot has brought in the likes of Ayase Ueda (24), Ramiz Zerrouki (25), Calvin Stengs (24), Thomas Beelen (22) and Bart Nieuwkoop (27), among others. The current Eredivisie champions are aiming to win back-to-back titles for just the second time in their history. The addition of Ondřej Lingr will certainly help create extra goal scoring opportunities.
