Feyenoord are showing strong interest in Almería midfielder Lucas Robertone, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The Eredivisie champions could soon make an offer for the Argentine who featured 37 times in La Liga last season. He scored twice and provided seven assists as Almería avoided relegation on the final day of the season. The 26-year-old can play as a central midfielder or as a right-winger. Feyenoord will have to pay around €10m to sign him.
Robertone could be a successor to Orkun Kökçü, who left Feyenoord for Benfica earlier this month. Feyenoord have already signed Algerian midfielder Ramiz Zerrouki from FC Twente, but an additional midfielder could help them hold their Eredivisie title next season. Lucas Robertone is a technically gifted, versatile midfielder. He’s spent the last three seasons in Spain and previously played in Argentina for Vélez Sarsfield. An offer from Feyenoord could be submitted soon. Robertone’s current contract is valid until 2028. He could be a brilliant signing for Arne Slot’s Feyenoord.
