It has been an immensely busy transfer window for the Rotterdam club with 12 new players being brought in, and they’re not done there.

With key central defender Marcos Senesi leaving for Bournemouth, they’ve been looking for a replacement and quickly set their sights on 24-year-old Hancko.

They’re now extremely close to getting their man with De Telegraaf reporting that they’ve almost reached an agreement with Sparta Prague.

According to the Dutch publication, the Czech side originally wanted €10 million for the defender, but Feyenoord were not willing to pay that much.

Instead, they’ve reportedly offered around €6 million, and the two parties are now ironing out the smaller details of the deal.

Hancko will most likely mainly play as a left-sided centre-back in Senesi’s place but can also play as a left-back, giving the club another option.
