According to a report by L’Équipe, Feyenoord and Borussia Mönchengladbach are competing for Wolverhampton Wanderer’s Boubacar Traoré (23).

The defensive midfielder has a long contract at the Premier League side which sees him tied to the club until 2027. However, despite this, the club have been open to allowing the Mali international to leave this summer.

RC Lens were thought to be in the race to sign Traoré as they looked to sure up their midfield at the start of the summer, but it appears as if the French club would face significant competition if they still have hopes of signing the player.

L’Équipe notes that Feyenoord and Mönchengladbach are just a couple of the teams interested in securing Traoré’s signature, with Feyenoord having already sent an offer of €15 million for the player which has been rejected by Wolves.
