Chivas could continue with Fernando Beltrán if no other offers arrive for the midfielder this summer.
The future of the 23-year-old continues to be up in the air because although there was talk of a switch to Pachuca in exchange for Erick Aguirre, the reported negotiations have slowed down.
According to Record, Chivas have been pushing hard to loan Beltrán and sell Alejandro Mayorga to the Tuzos.
However, Pachuca wanted to keep the services of the midfielder and bring in Mayorga on loan – the exact opposite of the desires of the Chivas board.
It was also claimed that Chivas turned down a swap deal with Xolos for Marcel Ruiz.
Beltrán is still under contract until December 2023 and has featured 95 times for the rojiblancos in his career.
