Despite being in the play-offs, for Fernando Beltrán, there is still a lot of work to be done as Chivas are still striving to win the title.
As has been proven in years past, if you can reach the Liga MX Liguilla, anything can truly happen and Beltrán believes Chivas are hitting a high point.
“I see a very well mentalised Chivas and we are aware of how we will play on Saturday,” he said in a video press conference.
“We cannot fall asleep for a minute since Puebla is going to come out to press from the very beginning as they have nothing to lose.
“We will try to hit the scoreboard first as that would help us a lot to control the game and take pressure off us.
“I don’t see any disadvantages for us in the Liguilla. We became strong as the away side in the tournament. It was difficult for our opponents to score against us.
“We are calm, on the pitch, it is just 11 against 11. We will go out to seize the moment and try to beat a good team like Puebla.
“They have a defined system and a good manager who has made them change their mentality.”
Chivas defeated Puebla 2-0 on the road back in matchday two of the season, which was all the way back in July.
