Enner Valencia has paid tribute to Tigres UANL after his departure for Fenerbahce.
The former West Ham United striker turned down offers from China to move to Fener as he wanted to prove himself again in Europe.
Valencia posted to social media: "My time at Tigres was very good.
"I came to a group that already had been together for a long time, I was able to adapt very quickly and I was able to win some championships with the club, I enjoyed it a lot.
"We made the decision to come to Turkey, to get revenge for coming to Europe. I have been a very professional player, winning titles in the teams that I have been, hopefully Fenerbahce is not the exception."
Valencia won two titles with Tigres.
