Turkish giants Fenerbahce have launched an attempt to sign Portuguese international defensive midfielder Danilo Pereira from PSG, according to football intermediary Paulo Tavares.
Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus arrived as the new coach of the Turkish side at the beginning of this month, signing on an initial 1-year contract.
The 30-year-old defensive midfielder is amongst the players that Antero Henrique has been charged with removing from the PSG 1st team squad during this summer transfer window.
According to sources contacted by Get French Football News, the PSG transfer committee accept that they are unlikely to achieve the removal of many of their undesirables via a straight transfer this summer and may be forced to enter into loan with option or obligation to buy deals.
Pereira is under contract with Les Parisiens until 2025, having joined PSG in 2020 on loan with an obligation to buy deal, that cost the Ligue 1 champions around €20m.
