As reported by Santi Aouna of the French outlet Foot Mercato via Twitter, Bologna’s Gambia international forward Musa Barrow is attracting significant interest from Turkey this summer.
Istanbul heavyweights Fenerbahce have reportedly approached the Italian club with a £7m offer for the 24-year-old attacker, who’s won 32 international caps so far in his career. Barrow can play through the middle but has usually been deployed from the left side of the attack during his stay at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara, having joined from Atalanta back in July 2021 for a €14.34m fee, according to Transfermarkt.
Since then, Barrow has made 128 outings for the Emilia-Romagna club, scoring 27 times while adding 28 assists, although his 11 goals and assists were noticeably down from his 20/21 season peak of 19.
Bologna is mulling over the offer, which is less than half what the Italian club paid for the player initially, and are yet to make their intentions clear.
