Felix Brych will take charge of Real Madrid's clash with Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabéu on Champions League Group Stage matchday six (Tuesday, 9:00pm CET). The German official will oversee a game involving our team in the competition for the twelfth time. The last game he refereed came last season, a 3-1 win over Liverpool at the Di Stéfano in the quarter-finals.
His first Real Madrid game came in the 2009/10 campaign, a 1-1 Group Stage draw with Milan at the San Siro. In 2010/11, he officiated the 4-0 win over Tottenham in the quarter-finals, while in 2011/12, he was tasked with refereeing the win over APOEL at the same stage (0-3). In the 2012/13 season, he directed a 1-1 draw with Manchester United at home in the last-sixteen; 2013/14 saw him watch over the victory over Copenhagen in the Group Stage (0-2); and in 2014/15, he was in charge of the 1-0 quarter-final win over Atlético.
The final in Cardiff The German was also the man chosen to officiate the Champions League final in 2016/17, which saw Real Madrid clinch La Duodécima against Juventus. One year later, he was involved in the Champions League 2017/18 last-sixteen clash with PSG at the Parc des Princes (1-2). He then oversaw the second leg of the 2018/19 last-sixteen tie with Ajax at the Santiago Bernabéu. The penultimate game he refereed for the madridistas was the return leg of the last-sixteen against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
