🇪🇸 Felipe nets late winner as Atlético Madrid beat Osasuna | OneFootball

Champions Atlético Madrid moved within two points of the LaLiga summit thanks to a dramatic late goal on Saturday.

Osasuna’s Lucas Torró and Atlético’s Mario Hermoso both went close to scoring spectacular long range efforts, but there were otherwise few chances for either side in the first half.

Antoine Griezmann then had the ball in the net for Atleti early in the second half, but the goal was ruled out for a clear offside.

Yannick Carrasco then had a chance with nine minutes remaining but after dribbling past three Osasuna defenders, he could only shoot into the side netting.

And just when it looked like the game was heading for a draw, Felipe rose highest from Carrasco’s corner to head home at the near post.

Diego Simeone’s side move up to 4th in the table, while Osasuna remain 8th.
