Genoa forward Felipe Caicedo has been offered to Inter on loan, but the Nerazzurri are not currently interested in signing him.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri currently prefer to keep Stefano Sensi to make up the numbers in attack rather than signing a forward for the rest of the season.

Joaquin Correa’s thigh injury against Empoli has meant that the Nerazzurri could potentially be short-handed in attack while the 27-year-old recovers, and he is expected to be out for around a month at least.

Caicedo has not been a regular starter for the Griffone so far this season since joining from Lazio in the summer, and his agent has offered him to the Nerazzurri on loan for the rest of the campaign.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi worked with Caicedo for four years while in charge of the Biancocelesti and could appreciate the signing of the Ecuardorian, though the move would only happen if Sensi were to depart on loan.
